Thaisa Daher de Menezes, born on May 15, 1987, in Rio de Janeiro, is a towering Brazilian volleyball player known for her remarkable skills and presence on the court. Standing at 6’5″, she has had a highly successful career, earning two Olympic gold medals with the Brazilian national team in 2008 and 2012. Thaisa made her professional debut as a teenager, winning the South American Championship at age 15. After a brief retirement in 2018, she returned to the national team in 2023, demonstrating her enduring excellence in major tournaments.

Thaisa is currently in a relationship with Rafael Rodrigues, a hypnotherapist and coach. Before this, she was married to Guilherme Pallesi, but they eventually divorced.
