Newman has set multiple Canadian records in pole vaulting and has represented Canada in various international competitions, including the Olympics and World Championships. She holds the Canadian national record with a vault of 4.83 meters set in 2024.
Dating
Alysha Newman previously dated Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Anthony Chickillo. They were involved in an altercation in 2019, but the charges were eventually dropped. As of now, she has not publicly confirmed any new relationships.
Trivia
Newman won a gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, setting a Games record. She competed for Eastern Michigan University and later the University of Miami, where she set school records in pole vaulting. Newman was named one of Maxim’s Hot 100 women in 2021.
