Harper Murray is a standout volleyball player currently competing for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Born on February 24, she grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she quickly made a name for herself as one of the top high school volleyball players in the country. Harper was the No. 1 overall recruit in her class and was named Michigan’s Miss Volleyball in 2022. She continued her stellar play at the collegiate level, earning multiple accolades, including AVCA All-America Third Team honors and Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2023. As a 6’2″ outside hitter, Harper is known for her powerful spikes and solid defense, making her a key player for Nebraska.

Trivia
Harper was a key player in Team USA’s gold medal victory at the 2022 U19 Pan-American Cup, where she was recognized as the best spiker. Her sister, Kendall Harper, is also a standout volleyball player at Michigan. Harper wears number 27 in honor of her father, Vada who played football for Michigan from 1988-90, and passed away in 2011, following a battle with Lung Cancer.
